LoMaps fail to load
Not a Problem
LoMaps used to work properly on my devices but for 2 weeks, none of them (different countries) loads in.
No clue what had happened and how to fix?
Hello,
I'm sorry for troubles but could I ask you for more info, please? What exactly mean "fail to load" ? Can you see the maps in the list of offline maps (Menu - Maps - Offline)? Is there any error message?
Thank you for you help
Thanks, Petr

Dear Petr,
Thank you for your quick response!
I do see the maps among the offline maps, but on the screen I see only an empty background (with for example a planned rout on it also).
If I choose an other type of offline map (not LoMap), that I see perfectly. This is a new phenomenon, it used to work well with all types of offline maps.
I use a Samsung S8 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 tablet as well an I have the same problem on both.
Please see the screenshot of my phone with the empty background!
thank you for your help!
Daniel

Dear Daniel,
that's really weird. Only stupid question - are you sure that for example planned route is in Location covered by problematic LoMaps? And are you sure that map is selected? :)
Please send me also what LoMaps you use (country) and what theme? Do you use default internal Locus themes?
Thanks, Petr

Dear Petr,
Yes, I am sure :)
The Map is selected, moreover I also checked other LoMaps of mine, whether I can see any of them on my map (irespectively where I am currently ) - and they are not visible either.
BUT when I started to "play" with the themes, it came back... prevously I hav also put on an external map of Hungary: TUHU (map, themes and a shading and 3D view) and most probably the 2 different maps and thems conflicted...
Now I can switch - thank you for the tips on the themes.
I know it is in Hungarian but on the below link there is an instruction what I followed. Could you or someone from your team check whether the instructions there are correct or need some update to avoid any further conflict of maps in Locus?

Hi,
ah I see. Well from my opinion is description correct. The important thing is that it's needed to use only themes that are created for specific map. Sometimes shares different maps similar elements but this isn't case of TUHU map. I checked the their theme and it defines rules for completely custom elements then LoMaps map. For this reason LoMaps is rendered as blank map with TUHU theme and also TUHU map with Locus theme shows blank map (or with white background).
I'm sorry but you need to always change theme when you change the map
Thank you, Petr
