Map is loading very slowly and sometimes only partially
Not a Problem
Since maybe about 2 month the map has often the effect shown in the screenshots.
Especially while zooming in a new area the map is loading only very slowly. The longer I use LM on a trip the worse this behaviour develops.
Sometimes the loading even stopped and I had to restart LM.
Before this time it worked perfectly on my phone (S7)

Jonny - is the map fully drawn if you restart Locus? I wonder whether this is the same behavior I reported in http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/navigation-route-sometimes-rendered-behind-other-objects-or-inconsistently 2 days ago?

Dear Jonny,
you can try the restart - it works like magic for lots of situations :) However I'd like to ask if you can try it with different theme? Would you please also try it with any official LoMap and internal theme?
I also expect that you are on the latest version of Locus 3.24.3?

Hello guys,
did anyone tried latest Beta version? Does it happen there as well? Otherwise wait on next version next week, there were some changes that may affect map rendering of external OAM maps. Thanks

Still the same Problem after 4-5 hours recording respectively using zooming and using the app.
I use latest Openandromaps (not Multilanguage) and Elevate Theme. Changing to another Map or Theme also an Raster Maps brings no improvment.
I am using Locus Pro for many Years, but this problem is new (Last 2 Versions?). The only help is to hard stop Locus or reboot the Device.

Just installed a new LoMap and now I can see the difference .... :)
With original OpenandroMap the map needs 3 times more time to show a full mapscreen after fast zooming some levels in comparison to LoMap.
With both map sources I choosed the internal style theme.
Checked with the new version 3.25.3 (and the version before) on a Galaxy S7.

thank you for info. I think that previous problem was caused due to some problems in OAM theme. I would suggest to update the map and themes.
