Good day Eiving,

very interesting that restoring previous state cause such stuck. There is probably some error on background that do not display error message and also not close loading progress.

Are you able to to create a debug log by this method http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log right after this problem happen? It should help a lot. Thank you!

Good day Eiving,

thank you for a logs, it helped a little bit.

You log is full of errors when Locus tries to initialize some XML files. I use for testing XML file format which may define some special maps and seems that you have a) placed some XML maps directly into Locus/maps directory or b) you have added some directory with maps as "External maps" but in this directory is a huge number of XML files.

b) option seems to me as correct, because in log is that Locus tries to initialize directories like /system/etc/sysconfig and similar. So it is possible that you added (maybe by accident) some system directories to list of "External maps" in Map manage > offline > "+" button ?

If so, and Locus cause such troubles during state, best solution for now seems to me uninstall Locus over Google Play and install it again. No need to do anything with Locus directory, just try re-install. You will lost your current settings, but it should work correctly after that.

I did small improvement in app to prevent such problems, anyway for me it's still little bit mystery, what Locus do not end initialization with some error and instead it's stuck on loading dialog.

Anyway hope that my suggestion helps you.
