Map theme button disappeared in latest update
Solved
Hi,
In the latest version (or the one before it), the vector Map Theme button totally disappeared. It's nowhere in the UI at all!
The only way to change map theme now is to go through the painful series of clicking in settings.

in Beta 3.9.1.5 and also in next official Version, theme button appeares top left in mapview of displayed vectormap

TLDR: I figured out after reading the huge other thread!
Detailed:
After being a hardcore Locus user for years, I absolutely couldn't figure out what happened with my disappeared map theme button. I had to come here and ask a question to get a link to the idea thread.
After reading it for 10 minutes, I figured out that now I have to look for the theme button in the panel options. But adding a panel option is super geeky now.
1. Long button press on any button (why would a non-geek ever try this?)
2. Modify panel
3. Add new function to panel
4. Functions: not one of them, Geocaching: not one of them, Custom screens: not, Map tools: not (!!!)
- I've given up here when I was hiking, coming back home, filling this problem report.
5. Now, that I've read the thread, I started again, this time I didn't stop at Map tools. So Hardware Devices: not, Special Clients: not, Add ons, Tools: Map themes!!! Wow, I found it!
Now, please, seriously, try to ask this from a person who doesn't spend evenings with tweaking Locus on Android devices. Changing map theme should be a super obvious thing.
And most importantly, if you upgrade a feature, always make sure that you don't break the UI of existing users. In this case a script should change the old button to the new button in the UI, without the users noticing anything.

You are fast, thanks guys :).
EDIT: ah and Zsolt answered in same moment. Please wait to next Locus version. This feature will be improved and simplified (change of theme).

Menion, I appreciate the simplifying effort, but please always make sure that auto-upgrade doesn't silently break features as people do actually rely on Locus when they are outdoors.
For this change a simple post-upgrade script would have made sure that the old button is replaced with the new button silently. Also, I'll wait for the new stable version to check it out, but don't put a Map tools related functionality in Tools.

Zsolt, sorry, but silently breaking old existing features is my speciality! I'm anyway sure, that in next version it will be a lot better!
"don't put a Map tools related functionality in Tools" ... I'll try to keep this in my mind. In next version anyway, will be "Theme" button removed from side panel and returned back to "Quick settings", so no more "Tools" section, no worry.

Menion, no problems, I am looking forwards the new version!
