Hello Benoit,

please don`t rather say word "huge" here. I`m a little bit alergic on it

firstly read these terms of use for Google Maps: https://developers.google.com/maps/terms , mainly section 10.1.1.. More you donwload, more you increase probability that Locus will be completely blocked, because downloading of such maps is illegal ...

anyway I`ll try to solve it as general problem of downloading maps, not exactly Google Maps.

I`ve tested it twice and in both cases, it works correctly. If Locus completely crash, that it`s some serious problem. For this is best log with all possible information. Best way is using aLogCat program or CatLog. Both anyway on 4.2.2 require a root access. Do you have it on your device? If so, please create a log and send me it on locus@asamm.com, thanks

Hello, thank you for your answer and sorry for the delay... I wrote an answer few days ago but apparently it didn`t work...

I understand your concern but I was thinking I was following the rules...Map section says Google map can be download within the limit of 10000 tiles per day... I downloaded always in the limits and not even every day... (not always thinking about it)

for the problem: each time I launched locus, I have an error message saying : disk I/O error (code 1546) while compiling PRAGMA journal mode.

In map section, I can resume the download but if I do, locus crashes (screen freeze).

I have a root access on my device and I installed the program you advised me (Alogcat). But I didn`t succeed to capture logs of locus. If you have further

advices, I will be pleased to troubleshoot with your help...

Thank you again and sorry if the terms were not appropriate.
