Map Items is always the top layer (tracks disappear)

Hi !
I`m using map items a lot and I`m very glad for the "new look" from ver 2.3.4
But unfortunately the map item always is top layer so e.g. a track "disappear"
It works fine in e.g. ver 2.3.1 (the track is over the map item)
