Hello,

I am looking for online - and offline Maps for Norway. (North Norway and Lofoten)

Could you please advice me Maps? (no time limit and abbos, charge is no problem)

Hello Christoph,

there are two possible solutions:

1. Offline LoMaps - you can download offline maps for whole Norway form Locus Store. Via Menu - Store - Europe - Norway. More about LoMaps http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_locusmaps

2. To use official Topo maps from Norway cartographic institute.

- Please open Menu - Maps - Online - PLUS blue button - Add new online map

- Navigate to Europe - Norway - Statkart Topo - Tap on ADD button . This add new map to the list of available online map.

- Go back to the Menu - Maps - online - Statkart.No - Topo - and from submenu select Download.

Please note Statkart.no Topo maps are great Topo maps for Norway, but this map works in different way then mentioned LoMap. Map has bigger size and you can download limited area for 24hours (or split downloading to several days). This map is good solution for small areas.
