Maps Point of interest disappeared after update.

Not a Problem

Hi,

I like to use the display of POIs "build in" locus vector maps. It worked quite well until today.

I have updated vector maps Germany and Austria from locus store. Now the menu locus maps pois does not show any POIs any more. The list is empty. What did I make wrong?

I observe the same problem. I'm a new user of Locus Pro, so I don't know if it has worked before. Actually the list is empty, independ of the map I choose, e.g. free online maps or a manual installed free offline vectormap.

Hi,

it seems that @Tom has solved the issue when downloaded map again. However would you please check that file with POIs DB are downloaded on your device. This file is located in Locus/mapsVector/<Region>/<name_of_map.osm.db

Thank you

Petr

Yes, the file is "_germany.osm.db" 347 MB. I found a subfolder in Locus/mapsVector/Europe/

"germany" which contains _germany.zipT (older than germany map).

Everything ok now.

I couldn't check with maps mentioned above but with other maps from counties from Germany (Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen and others) and it works very well.

@DK:

Function only works with vector maps from Locus Store!

Sure, it works with vector maps from locus store. It worked with my maps Germany and Austria. After updating the map Germany from locus store the POIs dissappeared. Empty list in map Germany and Austria. When I look at the map basic info it says Version 3, Size 1980,30 MB, mrojection Mercator, created mapsforge-map-writer-0.3.0 Points of Interest : YES

Could that be some kind of database problem?

Problem solved. I reloaded the map Germany from locus store and now all POIs are visible again.

Sorry for the panic.
