Solved

Hello,

im online mode, seems to map load all maps, but doesn`t show any of them (neither online nor offline).

I see an empty screen, which I can zoom, but no maps. I remember to have solved this earlier by centering the map when the curso was out of the maps arre. but it doesn`t word any more.

That`s my question.

Martin, try this:

1. Activate GPS and make sure to wait for a fix.

2. Then select online Map like Mapquest.

3. Then tap bottom left button to show red crosshair.

Now you should see a map.

Problem usually is when starting up: "the croisshair" is at an older location outside a small area vector map. Like in Holland I use 13 different small vector maps. When I move 50 kms I am outside of the previous smaller map and I see a white map screen.

With an online map you really can not have a blank map screen because these maps are "worldwide" (unless the map center is in the ocean?).

Hi Martin,

sorry for the trouble with the app.

Please, try also center your map and display coordinates in the top panel of the map screen, whether the coordinates correspond to your place.

Oh my dear!

It was quite another "problem": the other day I was walkin offline an do I selected OFFLINE Mode - what I had forgotten some days after. Sorry.

But, by the way I would propose to switch automaticly to anline mode, if the user tries to open online maps.

Good Idea, isn`t it?

Hi, this is weird anyway!

"Offline mode" is applied only on Online maps! so all offline (personal) maps and Vector maps, should work correctly

when you have enabled "Online maps" and "Offline mode", you should see instead of missing tiles, text Offline mode. This should notice you what settings you have enabled

and finally, disabling offline mode when selecting Online maps isn`t good idea I think, because offline mode is just for these Online maps :)

so where is real problem? Is something not work as should in Locus? Let me know ...
