Mapsforge v5 offline maps not working

Mapsforge v5 maps are not recognized when put into Locus' MapsOffline folder on sdcard or any other folder. v4 working!

Hello Pat,

all should be already working correctly. Where you placed V5 maps? Should be placed in Locus/mapsVector directory.

9 months later, I still have the same issue. Is this supposed to be fixed? I updated android and locus pro and still no luck...

That's where I put them. I have two older maps there and they are loaded. All the new ones give an error on startup , something like "undefined error" or "unknown error".

Then suggest to check your maps. Huge number of users already use maps from OpenAndroMaps without any problem (they are also in V5 version right? :) ).

By the way... I only tried the mapsforge maps, because I was not able to download any map from the Locus store. Downloads will start, but the displayed % does not seem correlated with the MB displayed. It ends when all the MB of data are downloaded, but then the progress is still displayed as 50% or so! Then nothing happens anymore and the map is not available to use. I tried that numbers of times without success...
