Mark different slopes on track profile with different colours
Gathering feedback
It would be nice when you show the track profile (elevations chart) that you can see hard slopes (say > 6% or > 10 %) marked with different colour on the elevation chart. Something like is done on http://cycleroute.org/
Would be helpful.
Yes, this would really be a help: see also the route descriptions on http://www.quaeldich.de. They are all marked with different colours for different slopes.

I think https://bikeroll.net is something very similar to cycleroute. Beside nicely colored elevation profile, it also has weather support that I like very much.

Hi Menion ;
I understand there are 17 colours (or 16 more a computer number).
Should I understand each colour corresponds to (manual % interval) / 17 ?
for example if from -17% to +17% dark red colour corresponds to +15% to 17% ?
thanks

Hi,
On bikeroll.net you should double click on the elevation profile to enter the "Preference" menu. There you can see (and set) what the color codes mean. By deafult (1) green is everything below -20%, (2) blue is between -20% an 6%, (3), yellow is between 6% and 12%, (4) red is between 12% and 48%, and (5) black is everything above 48%.

I support the idea. I would like to be able to choose a colourful slope chart.
