Multi-add attachment

Gathering feedback

I added a bunch of points for bus and train stops for a travel

destination and downloaded the public transportation map for offline

use. Now I want to add that map to all of the points for quick access.

Now, I have to do this manually for every point.

Would it be possible to add "Add attachment" to the multi-selection dialog in the point dialog (see screenshot)?

Good day Ingo,

I understand your idea. But I'm worried, that it is SO specific feature, that it won't be useful to other people except you. At least I do not see any other usage.

Did you tried to use "On board calibrator" feature and calibrate downloaded public map directly as an overlay to Locus?

Hi Menion!

Yeah, I know it's very specific - I put it here mainly to see if I'm the only one who'd like that. If the idea had dozens of votes, you'd probably reconsider ;) But for now, you're right, it's too special.

I didn't use the calibrator before, and for this map it made no sense (it's a stylized metro map-kind of map). But I tried it now for some other downloaded map and works great! Another fantastic function in Locus that was still waiting to be discovered by me :)

Hi again!

While playing with the on-board calibrator, I stumbled over one thing: The MapItems are hidden/shown by simply tapping on them, there's no menu entry "Hide" or "Show", even though there is a menu.

I find that rather unintuitive and inconsistent, as all points and tracks have that menu entry. Granted, the menus on the points/tracks tabs don't have it, but that's always folders.

What do you think?

PS: Just saw, this thread http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/how-to-removed-imported-map-overlay is kinda the same, so I'm not the only one who got confused here. I admit, I didn't see the crossed-out eye either, but that removes all from map and still leaves you wondering how to turn it on again (until you figure it out). I think a Hide/Show menu entry would make this a little more intuitive for newbies...
