Multiple vector maps at a time
Completed
Is it easy to implement multiple vector maps at a time?
Imagin that you are walkong by the border route. You must many times switch from one map to another.
Hello Jan,
this is known issue of library I use for VectorMaps rendering!
http://code.google.com/p/mapsforge/is...
so till MapsForge team change this, it won`t work in Locus. Anyway all maps generated for Locus have around 10km border that cover area of another maps so for foot or bike, this should not be a big problem

Hello Menion,
thank you for the answer.
(It is hard for me to decide, what is MapsForge feature and what is Locus feature.)

understand :) ... all rendering problems are usually on MapsForge playground. Such tasks like two maps at once aren`t perfectly clear who`s problem is it. In this case, MapsForge.

@Jan: using the Quick Map Switch make`s life easier. I have this switch in the right-side button bar and when tapped, it shows the neighbouring (vector) maps and let`s you select them right away. Which is good in countries where you are not too familiar with the names of the regions, or districts or provinces.
