"My Locus" Profil aktivieren fehlgeschlagen

Not a Problem

When I try to enter Locus Store I see the message to activate My Locus Profile.I choose my Google Account. The message disappears and nothing has changed. In the past I bought maps and LoCoins. Meanwhile I upgraded my mobile from android 4.4.2 to 5.0.1 and made Factory resets. I have Locus Pro. There was no problem to reinstall the Pro version with my Google Account.

sorry for a delay. So if I understand correctly, you tap on "Locus Store" in main menu of application, then you see request to login and then You get offer of your registered gmail accounts in device and also "Facebook" option below, am I correct? And here, when you tap on your gmail account, dialog disappear and nothing happen?

Yes, correct. But I get not a request to login but a request to activate my profile. Always when I click on Locus Store I have to activate again. I see my ONE gmail address and Facebook too but I have no Facebook Account. When I tap on Facebook I see the dialog to register there.

I could solve the problem. I removed the google account from the phone and installed it again. Everything is OK now. Thank you!

Hello Martin, ah I'm breaking my head on this right now and try to search a place, where such weird issue may occur and you have already solved it :).


Well, looks like some issue in Android itself. Little bit weird to be true. Anyway I'm really glad you found a solution. In case, it happen again let me know. There are usually some options what to do and how to find some workaround on such problems.

Hello Menion,

it seems there is a problem with sychronisation of the google account. I

don't like to synchronize everything. So I modyfied and allow only a few

things like gmail, apps and calendar. Now the gmail sychronization

hangs. May be I have to allow some more synchronizations. I cannot

remember such problems in android 4.4.2. I have now 5.01. I let you know

when find out more.

I have the same problem no way to solve it. On my other Android it works fine.

Reinstall Google did not cure the problem.

Also reinstallIng Locus pro.

Locus itself works fine.

After reinstallation of the Google Account I could enter the Locus Store for a few days. Then I had the same problem again. I made a factory reset of the smartphone. Now everything works fine. DON't FORGET THE BACKUP OF ALL LOCUS FILES!

On my Note 8.0 all works fine, but with S 4 no way!,!!

After re installing Google account and updating in a quick wlan all is ok now. Maybe the bad wlan did not properly update.

Hello guys, thanks all for a tests You did and sharing your results. It really looks like some internal problem of Android which was solved by

a) removing and add-in back certain Google account, or

b) complete factory reset
