Navigating from one point to another point
Solved
Navigate from whatever location (except current GPS location) to another location doesn't work as expected.
p.e.
I click on a location on the map. --> Navigate to
Start GPS --> switch to --> Select on Map
Tap to select (this inserts the coordinates)
Car --> FAST
Now there is a route indication as expected
but the travel time and the distance is not from the starting point but from my current GPS location.
Greetings to your team and happy for the good work you've done!
Hello Ray,
if you plan a route by above method, you then probably see on the map computed route + blue arrow that points somewhere on closest points on track, right? Then distance and times are equal to distance to route along this blue line + distance along route to finish. Time is then computed from average speed + distance.
If you want to plan tracks for later re-use, I may suggest to use "Add new route" function from "menu > more".

Hi Menion,
I don't understand your reply. Maybe I did not explain myself very well.
If I'm in Holland and I'm planning a small trip from Nice to Marseille (200 km) using the method as in my first message, Locus show the right line (from Nice to Marseille) but returns the distance and travel time from Holland (current GPS location) to Marseille (instead of Nice to Marseille)

For your job ¨navigation to¨ isn´t the right function. It is for starting a trip now. For planing of trips it is better you use function as menion mentioned (Add New Route & Measure). Then routes are without start leg from home.

Hello guys,
I would like to close this topic if possible.
So, as KaHeMu wrote, "Navigate to" function is mainly when you right now wants to navigate. If you wants to plan a trip for the future, I also really suggest to use mentioned function "Add new route".
What you get in your case, is time and distance needed to get to starting point (probably visible blue straight line) and then are added values (time and distance) from computed track.
Also alternative solution should be, disable GPS in Locus! before you use this "Navigate to" function. Locus should then use map center as an alternative "current" location ( this is also useful for testing), so you may get better values.
Let me know if this helps you.

Ok I've got it. :) Thank you KaHeMu and Menion.
I would not have asked this question if it was NOT possible to change Start GPS (--> to Select on Map) :)
