Need a Place to Camp (and Locus won`t help)!

In the Knowledge Base: "Getting Started with POI" the instruction is to go first to the data manager. When I do this, the Points tab shows no information. Do I need to first download POI from somewhere?

When I search Address and enter a city name, the app finds it and moves to the coordinates for the city (whether or not I have an offline map for that place. This indicates that somewhere in my system is information about cities. However if I search "full text" for, for example, "Montparnasse" or "camping" there is no search result.
