NZ topo 50 shows older generation maps at max zoom. Example: new development in Tauranga at S37 41.123 E176 06.877 is not showing at max zoom but it does show if you zoom out. Also Whenuapai new motorways.

Sorry to spam my own thread but further research shows that even the most recent tiles in Locus are not the current version (found in a different online view of the free LINZ data)

thank you for the question. The map tiles are not loaded from LINZ server but from the this service http://www.nztopomaps.com

However I'd like to say that we're in negotiation with LINZ about direct usage of topo maps from their service.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I think it is still a bug that you are loading different generation maps for different zoom levels. The nztopomaps.com website gives the same generation map at all zoom levels that they allow. Maybe they have not loaded the newer map on the max zoom level tiles that Locus requests?

"The competition" https://www.topomap.co.nz/ has the more recent maps.

I hope you will come to a quick agreement with LINZ. I do prefer Locus for off line use.
