No more access to offline maps stored on external sdcard after update to version 3.18.7
Solved
Since latetest update, locus pro can't access to my vector maps, stored on external sdcard.
Thers no problem with Vectormaps stored on internal card.
Good day Pasokon,
sorry for a complications!
I see you have "myLocusMapsVector" directory in root of your card and this card is directly in root of your device, is it correct? Are you using some custom rom?
I'm asking because it is quite un-usuall. Common is to use standard Linux structure, like "/mnt/sdcard/..." or new Android 6+ system "/storage/xxxx-xxxx/...". There were few users that by accident selected root directory of a device and Locus was quite stuck at start with searching in all directories and checking for a maps. So I've added protection that prevent to add first two levels of directories because I didn't expected, anyone will be able to have map in lower then third level.
So in your case, "/sdcard1/mylocusvectormaps" won't work, but "/sdcard1/xxx/mylocusvectormaps" should already work.

Dear Menion,
thank you for your fast reply.
You're right, I use my offline maps folder direct below root directory of the external sdcard. Until now there where no problems by doing this way. But nevertheless, i tried your suggestion, now i stored my maps directory in "/sdcard1/myLocus/vectormaps", but unfortunately this don't work too.
I'm using locus pro for several years and im very satisfied with the app.
The app is running on a sony xeperia v with android 4.3, there's no custom rom installed on the device.
Best regards
Pasokon

Dear Menion,
sorry for inconvenience, but now it works.
By adding the map directory direct from the offline maps menu, there is still a problem. But by setting the default vector maps directory on the settings menu it works fine.
So i think, the problem is solved.
Thank you for your support and go on with this super app!

Good day Pasokon,
glad you found a solution. There is indeed issue with adding an "external maps", so I'll fix it and improve it little bit to next version. Thank You for a bug report, it helped to me as well a lot!
