No Sunset/Sunrise with external BT
Solved
Hi,
this is quite a minor problem. How reproduce:
1. deactivate internal GPS
2. start Locus with external Bluetooth mouse on
3. configure sunset/sunrise on top menu
4. wait for satfix
Result: unknown is displayed.
If you switch internal GPS on, sunset/sunrise is displayed. So my guess: the sunset function calls GPS data from the false progamming interface.

For sure there is a problem.
In your screenshot, locus has a satfix (green status) but no sunset/rise status - i see
hmm, but can't reproduce on 2 devices and 2 different gpsdevices.
@(3.) I have the satfix immediately after Locus starts. So I don't have to wait. Maybe that's different.
btw. All location services from system also disabled.

Ok, I'm able to reproduce your screenshot this with
Did you explict disabled GPS, or did you simply switch the flight mode on?
With this the above settings and external BT mouse I got:
ps: The text "bis.." is truncated because I raised the system font size by one. Maybe it's better to truncate the string output instead of "..." output.
pps: Is there a way to change the size of the images in the editor?

I think I know where should be a problem.
Give me a day, I'll test it tomorrow.

The only reqiurement for displaying sunset/sunrise is an via android activated GPS. GPS in locus may be disabled, no satfix is required.
I wonder how the sunset is calculated?

Oki, should be fixed in next version (issue with "uknown" location).
Calculated? Few simple equations? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunrise_equation :)

Thank you very much!!
My question was a little bit inaccurate, sorry. For what coordinates are the sunset/sunrise values calculated?
MIddle of the card or for the actual satfix position?

ah, always were used "last known coordinates" received by device internal system, so GPS or Wi-fi etc. In next version will be used last received location from any source, so also a BT GPS. In cases, there is no known location, there will still be "Unknown" text. Maybe I should change it to something like "No known location".
