Hallo Felix

Schau noch einmal in deinen Einstellungen nach bzw. aktiviere die Funktion

Stelle diese noch einmal ein - auch wenn du denkst du hast dies schon getan...

Of course I did that already, switched it on, off, autohide, no hide, but it did not help...

Hello Felix,

sorry for this problem. I still don`t know why exactly this happen on a few devices. Anyway solution is quite simple. When you`ll have around two minutes time, take Locus and use "menu > more > set right panel" and set this panel again. May you`ll discovered some unknown features ;)

Hi Menion,

thanx for the tip, this really worked. But it is not what one would expect after a simple upgrade.

Is it only my impression that locus growed to a difficult to maintain code monster? I think if you could you would rewrite it completely differently...

Thanx again for this great piece of software, there is nothing better in this area

Hi Felix,

it`s monster for a longer time. Maintain code is also sometimes difficult, I may only confirm it. Anyway this was different problem. If you do not noticed, you may now also change buttons in main menu to your most used functions. To allow this, I needed to change a way, how settings on these all three panels are stored (top, right and main menu).

So during an update, old settings was converted to new one and somewhere here is some small issue, that never happen on my devices, but to you and few other peoples, this happen. But because I considered this as one time, small issue, I was not investing time to this ...

Anyway I`m glad it works fine for you and enjoy finally coming spring and working right panel ;)

Hi,

thanx for the tip with the main menu. I indeed did not know and was missing it for long time. And finally we found the solution, I should have posted the question earlier ;-)

Cheers

Yes you`re right.

The old label "function" is now called "more".

@menion

You see - a manual is absolutely useless if it`s not up to date...

I see nothing in your weird combination of german-english topic ...

Anyway problem with outdated manual is well know, on other side, way to define right panel is same for quite a long time and changing buttons in main menu is not feature I want (need) to promote

Hi, I always use auto hide allpanels on small phone screen. Why previous version set up panels was changed anyway ? Actual version: Long panel push: Modify panel(s), a still undocumented trick. In SET FUNCTIONS PANEL the ADD NEW ITEM is easily "unnoticed" at the bottom view when using already populated panels.

Suggestion: ADD NEW ITEM at the top of this SET FUNCTIONS PANEL.

Hhmmm....extra Left panel ? ;-) or FREE more specific (grouped) panels. Left panel: the "geocaching" panel. Right panel the "biking/hiking track" panel. Off coarse, free to comment !
