North America Datum 27

Answered

Just started using Locus Maps for search and rescue. However we frequently use maps that are based on the older North American Datum 27 (NAD27). Can Locus Maps support NAD27 so I don't have to convert coordinates when working with other SAR teams?

Good day Patrick,

method that balloni describe is correct method how to add custom coordinate systems into Locus Map. For your luck, NAD27 is already there. Just check menu > settings > units > type of coordinates and at end of list is already added NAD27. At least I hope I don't have it there added manually :).

Ah thanks, seems my testing 'config_projections.cfg' file gets longer and longer ...

this line is what Patrick needs to be added there

  1. 1|26710|NAD27|NAD27|United States
