Not possible to change default directory for mapsvector

Hi,
I want to change the mapsvector directory to a direcotry on my extern
SD car but when i'm creating a new and name it locus\mapsVectorExt the defauld]
map direcotry /sdcard/Locus/mapVector remains. the new folder is not been set to the new location.
i'm using samsung S7edge with android 8.
any idea how to solve this?

Hi,
most probably the problem is that you used the word "Locus" again in the new path definition. We recommend to use only one "Locus" directory name all over your mobile - the main one. Use e.g. Locus_SD instead.

I already tried to make a new folder on my external SD card named LocusVector and then set the new location but when i restart locus, still the same folder is displayed as seen in my screenshot when creating the topic. After selecting the new location (as seen in the screenshot ) the mapsvecoter location is still the same

the problem is that the file browser is not a part of Locus - it is the system browser. Try to fumble with it a bit... long tap, threedot menu... perhaps the button appears after a while?

Strange, I have a confirmation-button present / visible at the bottom of the file browser.
What happens, when you select "mapsVectorExt"-folder? Maybe then the confirmation-button becomes visible.

Hi,
deletion of the file manager did the trick. Now i'm able to download 3the party maps and they come in the new location now. After downloading / extracting there come's a message that the installation is failed, but when i'm selecting the map it seems to be Ok. I will try some other maps to to see if everything is working Ok, tnx for the help. :)
