Onboard map calibrator fail

Mitch Pollack shared this problem 11 years ago
Solved

I`ve been using the onboard map calibrator. It`s a great feature, and in general I`ve had no problems with it. However, there`s one jpeg file that I haven`t been able to calibrate successfully. It`s the jpeg at this site: http://xcskihighpoint.com/TrailReport....

I assign lat-long coordinates to points on the map and hit Compute, the way I do with any other jpeg map. The program tells me that the calibration was successful. However, when I go to Data/Items to import the item, I get nothing. No failure message, but no map, either.

Would you be able to help? Thanks! - Mitch

Hi Mitch,

thank you for report and Gynta for confirmation. May you please test this version if it works correctly? https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8015949/Locu...

problem seems to be size of image. Locus generate tiles 512x512 px and one side of your image is smaller then this and this caused troubles.
