The new Track Editor only displays the track you’re modifying, not other tracks. This causes a problem when the change you’re making is relative to one of the other tracks. For example, when you try to extend a track to meet up with another track (to make it look as if they connect … as if a trail meets up with another trail), you don't know how much to extend the track since the other track is not visible. The old editor displayed all tracks, which is what I need the new one to do. I can’t find a setting that affects this. Am I missing something? Thanks. I'm running Locus Map Pro 3.26.2.
Display already visible points/tracks also in track editor
Gathering feedback
My suggestion is to let the user decide if he/she would like to hide the points, other data on the map. I presume that You have string in the programming to "Hide" all data except the track in focus, before the "Tools" window comes up. Put a button or something like to let the user decide "Hide all data, quicker?" Yes/No What do You think.
I have no negative experience of "other data" before when editing trackpoints
Have a nice day

Good day Jeff,
we have rewrote track editor to new version with main purpose in the mind: modify recorded tracks with tools, that allows to fix technical and personal problems that may happen during recording. Purpose of track editor is not to modify route for a future using, planning for trip etc. For this purpose exists Route planner that should offer all tools, necessary to plan route for a future usage (navigation, guidance).
Because of strict usage, visibility of other content (tracks, points) is not wanted because it will only slow down usage and bring extra noise during editing. Thanks for understanding.

Menion,
Thanks for the prompt response. Your understanding of how Locus should work is obviously much much better than mine, but please consider allowing other tracks to be viewed because they are not always just noise. I understand that sometimes they are noise, but sometimes that are important landmarks that need to be visible during an edit, i.e. like roads and streams are left visible since the base map is still visible. For example, a track may need to be modified such that it runs along another track or avoids another track to fix glitches created during a GPS recording. Maybe it would help if all other tracks could be turned off or left on during editing by the user. For now I will try to work with both track editor and route planner to do what I need. Thanks.

Good day Göran,
question changed to public idea, so other users may vote if interested.

Hi,
I'm not sure what exactly the problem is but may you please first look into our manual if you use the route planning/modifying tools properly: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:editing
