Ordering maps in folders doesn't reflect folder name

I for instance have LoMaps of Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg and want them to reside in a folder named mapsVector/europe/Benelux, they get ordered in locus' map menu, but instead of Benelux, the folder is named Belgium, as the Belgium map is the alphabetically first map

Hi,

would you please select "Directories" option in "Sort by" menu ( the right button in top panel in Menu > Maps > Offline) . That could help. Please see http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_offline

Hi Petr,

the sorting isn't the problem, but "folders" containing multiple maps (Belgium, Luxembourg & NL) named Benelux in filesystem is named Belgium in Locus

ohh thank you for the screenshot. Unfortunately I can not offer any quick solution at this moment. We know about these circumstances but we're thinking about completely new map manager and for this reason there are no plan to improve current solution. More over the current system is quite complicated and your issue is little bit specific and this is reason why we're little bit worry to change it.
