Hi, I would like to use Open street map, or the Thunderforest style of it off line. But the download option does not allow this. How can i use OSM Offline?

Hi,

Locus offers two maps from Thunderforest OSM Outdoors and OpenCycleMap map. OSM Ourdors can be used only as online maps, OpenCycleMap can be downloaded for offline usage but downloading is charged.

I would suggest to try LoMaps map (it's also generated from OSM data) and you can influence appearance using themes. https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_locusmaps#map_themes

Except internal themes it's possible to download alternative themes from Locus store. (Menu - Store - Graphics - filter map themes)

I have started using 4UMaps, a different visualisation of open street map. Downloadable, high contrast for reading under sunlight and with shading.

I like it more than thunderforest now.
