does it exist a map without buildings (house), just roads in it? so that it`s easier to view, faster to load and lighter in file size?

or is there a theme that doesn`t render buildings?

Hello,

I guess that osm map in this case means the vector maps.

All maps generated by Locus team contain buildings and other popular openandromaps also have buildings. There are probably two solution:

1. Generate own map

2. Edit render theme

The second step is probably the easiest. Open definition XML file from arbitrary vector theme and remove/comment all tags with key buildings and hausenumber
