I have an off line map of Australia which I downloaded from mapsforge.org. It works well and is detailed enough for my needs.

However when I try to load another map eg Online Google - Bing Maps or OSM - Outdoor maps - the title of the map changes to that map, but the actual map on the screen remains the Australian mapsforge map.

On one occasion I could see the new map starting to load on the screen, but then it just flicked away and the Australian mapsforge map came back.

Can someone explain what I may be doing wrong or what is happening?

I guess the attachment i. e. the video is too big for this forum.

If I had to do so, I upload the video to a cloud service, google drive for example, and only provide the link for downloading the video here or send the link for downloading the video to the correspondig Locus developer by PM.

Dear Peter,

thank you for the video. The 'issue' is very likely caused due to enabled 'Map overlay'. Please open Menu > More functions > Map overlays > Disable overlay
