Out of route = phone wants to go online

Not a Problem

If I want to drive out of route, my phone wants to go online - with offline maps.

What can I do to cancel this?

don't choose a online routing service or recalculating in settings

Hello Jörg,

navigation in Locus is separated from the map. Locus needs (by default) internet connection for computing or recalculation of the navigation orders. Offline map is simply the map but it doesn't contain informations for navigation.

As gynta wrote there is another possibility - offline source for navigation. Locus can cooperate with Brouter app and compute navigation offline. Please note that navigation with Brouter is NOT useful for car navigation. How to use Brouter:

Petr,

I am curious why you say the Brouter app is not useful for car navigation?

I have used it several times when I have on service and it always seems to work correctly.
