Partly blank maps after zooming.

Version Pro. After zooming in the same area around Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, etc there is a blank part of a map. Problem seemed to be in higher level than country map. It is also a blank part in a World's Map.

The program was moved from a phone memory to SD card. Before it, work good.

Deleting the Hungary map and installing again didn't change the malfuntcion.

What to do?

Sometimes I have the same problem. But I don't have any SD Card.

I think it only happens on my device with cached online maps.

Hello guys,

I never noticed such problem on own device, so it's little harder to find real reason of this problem and fix it.

In next version of Locus Map will be updated system of loading map tiles from files and it's caching, so please wait on next version and let me know if it helped.

If not, then I'll definitely need to simulate problem on own device. So some list of maps I need to download, which one select etc. will be welcome. Thanks and sorry for a complications.

Sometimes I also have "empty" squares.. most of the times its caused by myselves.

I have a map, change/download new theme. Didn't like theme, shut down locus. Manually remove theme.

When restarting Locus, loading default theme automatically, the past shown map area will be empty. Change theme will not always fix this, but clear cache will.

I could be wrong in this case, of course.

Just my 5 cent..

Maybe I should uninstall Locus and install again? Will I loose my settings? How to save them manually?

This won't help, sorry.

Really suggest to wait on next version. If problem will be still there, then I'll need to simulate this problem on own device and because I never noticed this, it will be a problem :).

If you are able to simulate this problem, you should be able to find out circumstances that lead to it. I see you are using some world map, does it has effect if you use this map or not? Or some online maps? Or some custom theme like Hallgeir mentioned before? Etc etc...
