Place bookmarking - quick access to specific place

I would really appreciate, if it would be possible to "bookmark" certain chosen places in the map and quickly access them...let say through the right side panel. Or, if a specific POI would be directly accessible by taking it to the right panel (also with option of setting a specific zoom). Often, I am studying the map on several places at the same time, before I go geocaching and the only option I have is always manually scroll (or zoom out scrool and again zoom in) to that place of interest.

Hello Patrik,

maybe I have one good alternative for you.

When you tap on menu > search (menu > more > search) > coordinates , you get dialog where you specify source of Location. You may anyway improve this dialog and add there own places. Simply tap on top edit button (pencil). More about it is here - http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu... - button [3] - Own location, is what I mean

Thank you Menion, thats good to know and I will definitelly use that. Now...is there any way to access this from right panel? ...

The closest I have got to what I need was to put "navigate to" to right panel and chosen Own location....but again, I need to "zoom of....scroll manually... and zoom in" to get to that point. Is there any way arround this? I mean one click that takes me to specific part of the map "eg. Brno" automatically.

I suppose, it would be great to have this function at least within Quick switch if not as "standalone" buton for own locations

..or another option is to put "Own locations" into Search...if possible

you may place "Search" on right panel, then it`s just "search > move to... > your point" . No better way as I know
