Planning route

Not a Problem

With all the maps I've tried the route computing don't work for the two way road (paved) from

N 45° 35.465', E 11° 02.851'    to

N 45° 32.252', E 11° 04.277' .

On Google maps no problem.

Thank for the attention.

"maps" doesn't matter here. you can also use blank map

It's the kind of routing service:

http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:settings

please give us a small description of what you want to do.

Hello,

thank you for precise definition of start and end point for navigation. Computing of navigation route it's not related with map but with choose service.

Please open Menu > Settings > Navigation > Navigation data source - send us the name of selected service and type of navigation (Car, Cycle, )

Thanks

Thankyou for the answer.

I'm not shure to properly understand but however:

The map is MTB Europe (although it's not the matter).

I want to know, calculate, the distance between the points A and B, staying in my home, before I travel on it with my bike.

So i choose "Add new route&Measure fetch" and then appears the relative control panel.

I push the icon for the route computing and then the bike icon.

As you suggest, in the same dialog, i choose the navigation option icon too and then the item relating to the source.

The source selected is MapQuest with no option selected (Limited access, toll roads, etc.).

This method nearly always works properly, except some rare case (like this).

In the attached image I want the distance from A to B but the automatic function compute the blue hilight track.

As far as this case, what means the little red crosses over the route?

Might be useful a key legeng for the various symbols on the various map?

Ciao.

Hi,

I've tried to compute navigation between points you mentioned in the first point and route was computed successfully. Please try to little change the start or end point for navigation.

To your second issue with blue line. MapQuest tries to find the "closest" street or way for start/end point. The red cross says that the route is probably private or has a limited access. I guess that this is the reason why Mapquest doesn't use it for navigation and try to find another one. About legend: I'm sorry but as I know the provider of this map does not offer any web legend for this map.
