How can i choose a photo, eg(!) from my extSDcard/MyContacts/..
because..
When i attaching a picture with "Pick a photo" from gallery - i see a nice thumbnail
but when i attaching a picture as "other file" from ext SD - i see only an icon instead of a thumbnail.

Generally, Android use system, that all images that are available for other apps, should be accessed by gallery app.
If you need to add images that are excluded from galerry, then I think, you have to use any alternative app, like QuickPic that allows to pick images no matter where you have them.
