I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 which will work with the Polar H7 heartbeat sensor.

Is it possible to pair the sensor with locus pro?

Good day Michael,

Locus currently support Heart rate monitors over new BT 4.0, anyway there is one "small" issue.

This problem is already reported here http://help.locusmap.eu/responses/heart-rate-strap-over-ble-not-working-for-me

So you should try what I did - try to pair your device in Bluetooth settings as usually works for older device and then try to connect in Locus, or please wait to next Locus version where connection over new BT 4.0 should work even without pairing. Thank you

Hi,

first of all: Locus is an excellent Software with very nice features. I'm using it since 5 months for different kind of outdoor activities. A great compliment to the Locus team! ☺

There are some points that could be improved. One point is that my Polar Hart Rate Belt isn't recognized by Locus.

The belt is from Polar modell M400, so one of the actual devices. As I red in the support forum, a similar problem was reported 2 years ago. I'm surprised that it's still an issue with Polar Bluetooth data coupling. Will there come a fix or is it just a wrong use by me?

I'm not aware of any problems with Polar sensors. By M400 you mean these watches?

If you use some Polar device that should send over Bluetooth LE ( Bluetooth 4.0 ) it's heart rate to other devices, did you tried to connect Locus Map by "Heart rate monitor (BT4.0)" option and not over "Heart rate monitor (Polar)"?

thank you for information. Sorry that work with sensors is little confusing. I have already in head new system for this feature, just needs to find time to realize it. Anyway glad it works and have a nice weekend.
