Problem with IGN card in offline mode
Not a Problem
Hello, I am a French user of Oruxmaps but I can no longer load the maps of the IGN which modified its terms of access and use.
Your Locus Map Pro application interests me a lot because it seems to allow access to these IGN maps in offline mode.
I tried to download a map. Unfortunately this download stops each time along the way.
Reason: lack of space
I get an offline card but with a definition that does not exceed level 14, lower than the one I need which is 1 / 25,000
Do you have an explanation ?

Dear Alain,
I have to say that Locus does not allow downloading IGN France map. You probably use Map Tweak add-on that is not developed by Locus team. I'm sorry but I can not help you because downloading in this form is not officially allowed. But the error is straightforward: the lack of space on your device.
However we're working on charged service that brings official support for IGN offline maps. It should very likely available in next Locus version.

Thank you Petr for these informations. I take a closer look at the options of Map Tweak because I do not think that my Sony Z3 tablet lacks space.
I'm looking forward to your next version, which I hope will be as powerful as Ormuxmaps, an application that in my opinion was the best on the market so far

The Tweak message may be the result of a buffer too small because when I activate the map obtained on Locus, it asks me if I want to continue the download interrupted. By repeating the operation at each stop, I finally get the map at the right level of resolution. I wanted to let you know as it may be useful to other Locus users, while waiting for the new version.
I will now be able to test Locus and compare it to Oruxmaps which I am familiar with. I will continue my remarks on your forum. Greetings
