Problem with .kmz Maps

I have a trail map which was created by Google Earth in .kmz format. I am using Locus Pro. The file will not load as an Offline map, procedure results in error messages. The file successfully loaded using import data function. The trail map appears correctly on the main display map. Can't figure out how to hide this map from view or vary its opacity.

What format is required for Offline map and how do I convert it?

Hi 59

just an idea, copy your kmz to Locus/mapItems

After new start of Locus open Data/Items, click on map name, after it is loaded map name is red displayed,

next click on 3-dot button behind map name "center item"

Now your map should be displayed as overlay,

down left in map view now green button is visible, open it to set wanted opacity.

one possible format is sqlitedb.

With MAPC2MAPC you can convert kmz to sqlitedb.

Wolfgang,

Your method works fine! Looks like I don't need to convert.
