Problems with importing KML/KMZ maps

Hi, I installed Locus initially in order to display My Goggle maps offline, but have come up against two issues. I researched potential solutions online, but none seemed to work in my case.

Issue 1: Locus does not detect KLM or KLZ files within the folder "/sdcard/Locus/maps" despite files with said file-extensions being present. (Please see 1st & 2nd attached photos for details)

Issue 2: Locus reports "a problem" on trying to process when I select files from folder "/sdcard/Locus/maps" manually. (Please see 3rd attached photo for details). It should also be noted here that Locus installs itself on the Tab's internal memory and that what Locus shows as being located in folder "/sdcard/Locus/maps" is actually located on the Tab's internal memory. Kindly advise ASAP on a resolution for both issues. I tried to attach the two KLM or KLZ files utilised in my test, but they did not upload. Best wishes, Joachim at joachimbiermann@tiscali.co.uk

Good day Joachim,

we were already few times thinking about this - are maps in KML/KMZ files really a maps or they are still just importable files?

Result of these discussions is anyway still existing solution - so simply place all your KML/KMZ maps into Locus/mapItems directory, not directly into maps. You files will be then visible in menu > data > tab "Items". Here just tap on wanted item (map) and that's all.

Hope this helps.
