Not a Problem

Hi, when downloading map from MapQuest i got this message (see title), when I try to continue the download.

I already saw this thread: http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/offline_sqldb_file_corrupted but it doesnt help me at all. there are problems mixed and I got no idea what to do and also: My SD-Card is brand new, quitting, deleting the unfinished map and starting a new download works very well and the unfinished map didnt reach the 4GB limit ... thou I already downloaded a map this way, that was 8GB big... so it seems, the limit is something old.

And I forgot: I already had the problem few days before, when I still used my old SD-Card. So I don

t think its the SD-Card.

At the moment I create alot of tutorials for Locus Pro on youtube (german) and if the things dont work, as they should, it doesnt make it easy for me and it will hurt me to tell on youtube, that few things dont work as intended (thou I always say, that Locus is still being developed and developers do good.)

So if there is a solution, please tell me

Hello Alex,

I'm sorry for troubles. One reason can be caused due to write permission on the SD card? But you wrote that you're able to download new map so I think that we can exclude this reason. However for more info - http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:use_sdcard_on_kitkat

I guess that DB file can be rally corrupted in some way. You can send the file or try to "repair" the db file using steps described in: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:advanced:map_tools:corrupted_sqlite

I started from new, using my VM on PC, now I got the problem that the downloads stops cuz of error two, but a topic already started. Thank you =)

I just wanted to say, that I stopped the download with the (maybe) damaged sql data and deleted the file, starting a new download, but now Error 2 comes up. I already started a topic bout this new matter

I see thank you. Unfortuntely the second issue is quite general. Could I ask you for creation the debug log file, please?. How to create debug file is created in the article http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log

So - simulate the error and then collect log via android settings.
