Recording: GPS not disabled when screen off or locus map minimized
Not a Problem
I want to stop recording when display is off or locus map is minimized.
In Settings, I have:
GPS and Location> disable when hidden: ON; track recording:OFF; guidance:OFFgps auto-off:OFF.
in My recording profile> record when gps is off:OFF
But when I minimize locus map, gps stays ON.
Only when not in recording mode, does it behave as expected: gps ON when locus map is on screen, OFF otherwise. So it looks like the recording task keeps the gps awake.

It's by concept. When recording, you need GPS, so it doesn't switch off.

Thanks for the reply, Uatschitchun. I guess I misinterpreted the setting 'Track recording: Keep GPS on when the track recording is paused and screen off': it only applies when recording is on PAUSE + screen OFF, right? - but what is the use case?
I want to use recording as follows: screen OFF: GPS OFF and no recording - screen ON: GPS ON and recording on. This way I get a track along the day connecting with straight lines a serie of (usually single) points recorded each time I quickly check the map. Main reason: battery saving.
I can achieve this differently, though: with GPS auto-off set to ON + a rather high GPS update interval eg 36000s + Keep auto-off enabled set to OFF, I get points recorded only when looking at the map, and GPS if off the rest of the time.
So I guess the ticket can be closed :-)
