Renamed offline map doesnt work

Hello, I renamed a offline map file in PC, now it doest work in locus (acces denied)

When I renamed it back, it does not work either.

Hi Karol,


you posted also an issue with invalid account in Locus - this is probably related with it. Go to your Android settings > Applications > Locus Map > clear data. When logging in Locus Store after Locus start, use the account you purchased your maps with. And no file renaming, of course.

I tried to rename other maps, and it did not cause any trouble....I think there must be another problem.

I changed a phone, in the old one it worked, than I copied offline maps through PC and in new phone it doesnt work. Can you somehow check the map if it is ok?

About the acount switch , Android settings > Applications > Locus Map - here I do not have the option to clear data, is it possible to "move" my locoins from one account to another?

Yes I can but if you start a topic in English here we have to go on in English for the sake of other users who may find info in this topic useful.


The main problem why your maps don't work is wrong account - you have to wipe it out of your Locus memory. Wiping app data can be found in any android settings but if you can't find the option, try "restore preferences" in Locus > settings > miscellaneous. Your maps are associated (and crypted) with the account you used when you purchased them.
