Rendering waterway=drain, waterway=ditch, embankment, cutting and gully

It would be nice if waterway=drain and waterway=ditch were displayed in the hiking/biking style in LoMaps. They are very useful for outdoor activities. The same for embankment=yes (highway), man_made=embankment, cutting=yes (highway) and natural=gully. Of course, in suitable scales. For comparison, I send two places from LoMaps and in my style for OSM with QGIS + PostGIS.

thank you for the post.

I already thought about embankment couple years ago but I postponed the implementation due to poor coverage and some complication. I'll focus on it.

When it comes to drain and ditch - would you please send me some example screenshot with missing drain (with coordinates). I'l check it because these elements should be shown in LoMaps with default themes.

Thank you for screenshot. The LoMaps really didn't contain the "ditch" elements - so thank you for post. It's fixed - please wait for the next LoMaps version. However it seems that waterway=drain should be shown in current LoMaps. Would have please again the screenshot with missing drains?

Dear Tomasz,

I was working on implementation of embankments and I decided not to display the embankment=yes in default themes. Unfortunately there are lot's of nonsense in OSM data. For example wrong direction, embankment where isn't in real world. It's better not to render them then to render mistakes. However the elements will be add into the next version of LoMaps and alternative themes can render them. Also natural=earth_bank, gully and will be shown in next version of LoMaps
