RMAP created from CompeGPS not working
Closed
I've troubles loading a RMAP file created from myself in CompeGPS. Other mine CompeGPS RMAPs are working however; i've read that the support for CompeGPS maps is limited, but i don't understand why some maps are working and others not. There is something that i can do in CompeGPS before exporting?
It would be great if Locus would work with any RMAP file however.
Here is the link for the map

From CompeGPS i could export maps in ecw format too, but this format is not supported in Locus!

I've understood where relies the problem. The undelying raster .png was in 32 bit depth. After the conversion to 24 bit depth and the export of a new RMAP the issue has been solved, now Locus opens the file.

Good day Lorenzo,
I've finally found some time to check this problem and indeed, the map you shared does not work correctly and I see error directly in the source code (missing palette that is usually defined for colors with lower color depth).
With RMap format if mainly one problem: it's structure is not know so what works, works mainly thanks to some reverse-engineering. Because this format is not so widely used in Locus Map and because of most of its types works, I'll let the bug with your 32bit format as is, thanks for understanding.

Thank you very much Jiří. There's no problem about it, but i think that this limitation should be added in the product documentation.
Best regards

Hello, perfect.
