Rotating phone resets view portal
Solved
Rotating phone from portrait to landscape resets the view portal to home. I have to re-find the area I was zoomed into when I rotate the phone. Stock Galaxy S4 from Sprint.
Hi Eric,
I’m sorry – could you please explain bit more what “view portal” is? Which screen is lost after rotation?

If I zoom into a particular location while in portrait mode and then rotate my phone to landscape mode, the map I am viewing instantly changes to that of my home location. It does not simply rotate the view where I am.

Really weird. Do you have disabled the “Auto centering” function? (left button on bottom panel)
