Routing/Navigation uses non-existing roads
Answered
Good morning,
just did a short test with a OSM-Map. Routing from here to a lake nearby. Selected Bike-short.
The computed route uses a lot of cross-country parts where no paths exist. Mainly along a train-track.
If I switch to Bike-fast the proposed route looks better.
Using the online-map gives the same mistake. There is a path used that doesn't exist. In the online-map the path shows up (but doesn't exist). In the OSM there is no path.
Does routing uses always the online map? Why is the correct OSM map ignored?
Thank you.
Michael
Used map doesn't matter.Routing depends on used service.

Dear Michael,
please send us GPS coordinates or screenshot of problematic area. I guess that you use some online service for routing that use older data then latest OSM data. There could be some mistake in data > issue can be fixed but changes are nor reflected in routing service.
