Samsung Galaxy watch

At the Moment it is not possible to use the Galaxy watch GPS for the Locus app due to the fact, that it is not possible to use the watch as a "Bluetooth GPS". It is only possible to use the watch as a "remote Controller". Does it become possible in the near future to use the watch GPS and as well the HRM?

Hello,

we do not plan to add support to use the watch as external BT GPS source. If GPS were to be used it would be directly on the watch for some stand-alone functionality.

HR synchronization is on the other hand something we would like to add soon but there are other projects at the moment that need my attention, so I cannot give you any specific guess when that might be.

Best regards

Hello,

any standard BT4 heart rate sensor should work. We don't have any compatibility list as there is too many devices to follow. I would recommend any BT4 chest strap as they also typically have much better precision and results than any smartwatch.
