Samsung Tab A 8" no gmail login button

I have a brand new Samsung Tab A 8" w/16GB data. When I try to down load my maps it requires me to login. When I login with my gmail address it says I need to use the gmail button, but there is no gmail button on the store login. Only a login with email button.

Hi Jamie,

most probably, there are no Google Services installed on your phone. There are two solutions:

- you may install Google Services and restart Locus map

OR

- activate Locus expert settings (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:advanced:customization:config)

- go to Locus menu > settings > Expert settings > Allow login over Play Services - switch it OFF

Then you should manage to login just with your email.
