Solved

Phone: Samsung Galaxy s i9000

Firmware: Android 2.3.6 [STOCK] [ODIN] [DEODEX] 2.3.6 XWJVW_SER FULL DEODEXED & ROOT

Locus slows greatly, card moves jerkily.

And just over a minute locus starts (at startup screen glows white minute), long run was specifically with version Locus `a 2.7.1 2 ..

The latest stable version for my phone was 1.5 years ago (when I was on the 2.2 version of the firmware).

Use became impossible I will try to fall back on the oldest, the first versions of locus `a

There are so many possibilities, why you don`t have a smooth experience with your phone. Can you give some more details please?

Going to flash this firmware on my old i9000 too and check, if there is an issue...

Sorry, using same ROM as you and Locus runs smooth as butter...

Please share additional information so we can help you!

I use only the offline card (size 2Gb) on other phones, this card runs smoothly. keep your card in your phone

In memory holds about 120 points and 30 tracks of ~ 100 km

After downloading, Locus 10 seconds and still hangs not respond to commands.

When locus take more than 2 minutes to work begins almost seamlessly, but when I change the scale of the map again moving solid spurts

can I have a very unstable firmware. But other programs work fine

Today I will try a clean install without the locus of my settings, and try to find the old version is

online cards work smoothly on the pre-loaded sites, and when you change the scale slightly slows down

Alexander, isn`t there possibility that you have really really slow SD card?

I don`t know how much internal memory your phone have, but you should try to take on of your offline map, put it somewhere into any directory in you internal memory and add this map (you have to add whole directory with this map) into maps > personal tab (top + button).

Use the map google-hybrid SQL.sqlitedb (2gb)

Fail maps here (internal memory fast)

/ root / sdcard / (sdcard) google-hybrid SQL.sqlitedb

external SD - card slow 4 class, for it holds only movies

/ root / sdcard / external_sd (sdcard1)

When the locus of my great finds offline map google-hybrid SQL.sqlitedb problems begin.

Remove it and everything was working smoothly. like my phone feels bad to work with large maps =

Hmm if your file is really very close or even bigger then 2GB, your android version (below 4.0) should have a huge problems with it, and probably have. That`s correct. Weird is fact, that Locus should not allow to load file bigger then 2GB

Gynta pointed you on web page with really short description, how to separate big files into small one. I think it will work, it`s just really very short for people not much familiar with MOBAC (like me also :) ).
