Hi Mark,

do you use Googe Services assisted location? Is the displayed location correct, i.e. only satellites are not shown? Did you test this with another satellite-showing app like e.g. GPS Tools &status?

Google assisted location services is on.  The displayed location on the map was accurate.   I did not have an alternate satelite map app available at the time.

Hi Mark,

could you please test it with GPS tools&Status app? We can't simulate the issue...

The conditions which this was occurring, in Japan on planes, trains and airports can not be re verified by myself now being located in the US.  I have not yet seen this situation happen here.  I was having a very difficult time getting a satelite lock in Japan via locus while google maps was showing my location accurately.

Hi Mark,

unverified and unsimulated issues are very defficult to solve... Locus Map, as well as all other location-based apps, get location data from the mobile device sensors. Your screenshots indicate that you got GPS fixed location, just the satellites weren't displayed on the skyplot. Why was that so, it's therefore untraceable as we are not in Japan either. And no Japanese user has reported the issue yet.

Lenovo A2010

I have the same problem weeks ago. No satelites. Probably, there is no tools&Status app. The most similar is GPS Status & Toolbox. Do you mean this one?

Yes, GPS Status&Toolbox.

I do not understand your consent. Do you agree with GPS Status & Toolbox or GPS Status&Toolbox? Maybe you're just joking? Or are you trying to avoid answers?

OK, GPS Status & Toolbox. I'm not avoiding answers because I'm answering your question "The most similar is GPS Status & Toolbox. Do you mean this one?" I just omitted spaces before and after "&". That's all.

I have Lenovo A2010-a. GPS Status & Toolbox has got me the exact position but Locus has not seen satellites for about two months.

Jaroslav, when you start Locus Map, what color is the GPS button/indicator on the topbar? If it is white, you have probably turned off receving GPS data in Locus, then turn it on (Locus settings > GPS&sensors). If it is orange, Locus probably doesn't get GPS data from your phone - does Locus have all necessary location permissions? Check it in your system settings > applications > permissions. If the GPS indicator is green, then you have GPS fix and your location is known - the satellite skyplot is empty despite this fact? Try to change skyplot mode (Locus settings > GPS&sensors > 3D skyplot mode)

OK. I have found it in Security > Application Permissions. Thank you!
