Scale shows wrong distance on openandromap

Hello,
had downloadds a vector map (openandromap) for the canary islands. With a zoom level where I can see whole Teneriffa the scale at the bottom left shows a width of about 3km?! Is it an error of the map or locus?

What happens if you tap on the scale bar? It has three settings.
What shows if you activate GPS and activate Distance rings in the menu: Map/Objects and Style?

scale bar changes between distance, distance and zoom level, distance and zoom level and %.
When I activate GPS (and distance rings) the distance in the scale bar is correct. So this problem only occurs without gps connection.

Hmmm, I tried many of my Vector Maps but could not reproduce this.
Also without GPS the scale is always correct allthough I have no distance rings.
Maybe it's time for MENION and it could be helpfull to state your device and Android version.

quite interesting. As well as Henk, I'm unable to simulate your problem on my device with various maps. It's definitely problem on Locus as "measure" should be independent on source of maps, your device, rom, etc. Is same issue happen to your also with online maps?

yes, same problem with online maps. My device: Samsung S4 GT-I9505, Android 4.4.2.

Hmm I'm checking a code and there is no much places where should be any problem. Anyway I've changed a little bit one function, so wait please another week for next 3.6.1 version, thanks.
