Screen off if idle not working
Not a Problem
The setting seems to do nothing for me. The screen only works by the system time out. I'm on a Xperia Z3 Compact 4.4.4

Same problem.
Android 4.2.2 , Locus pro 3.7
"Display->screen on\off control -> turn off if idle for " is set to 30 sec
System timeout is set to 30 sec too
But screen goes off for about 10 sec (plus time to catch GPS if GPS was off)

Hello Tim,
The feature "turn off if idle for " works only together with navigation or guiding. Let's say that you start navigation and set "Turn on display for navigation orders" If you set "Turn off if idle for 30sec" then Locus turn off display 30sec after last navigation order. I have to also notice that system settings has higher priority.
Would you please check that Locus work in this way? For example set system settings to 2 minutes. Start guiding and check if Locus turn off display after 30 sec.
Thanks
Petr

Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried the instructions above but still have the same issue. It seems off if idle is ignored and system settings function normally.
edit: actually after a restart 0709's instructions worked.
though screen always on setting doesn't need to be activated for me. Hence I think it was the config.cfg edit that fixed the problem.
